The Millennium III Action features components made from ABS-Carbon, a composite material created by adding carbon fiber to our famous ABS Styran. ABS-Carbon is incredibly durable and strong. The soundboard is the heart of the piano. The aim is to transform the vibrations of the piano strings into a rich, resonant tone. Kawai uses linear Solid Spruce wood for the GL Series soundboards, each one strategically tapered to create movement. that is reflected at the appropriate level

V-Pro Plate
