Millennium III Action

The Millennium III Action has components made from ABS-Carbon, a synthetic material created by combining carbon fiber with Kawai's famous ABS Styran. ABS-Carbon is incredibly durable and strong. This allows for lighter action parts to be created without sacrificing strength. The result is a faster, faster piano action that delivers more power. Provides better control and provides more stability than an action made entirely from wood.

Longer key

Longer keys make playing easier. and provides a more consistent response whether the key surface is pressed above or below the key surface, which is higher and longer for concert piano standards. Makes it strong and transfers playing energy with great efficiency and maximum power.

The soundboard is made of spruce wood.

The sound board is the heart of the piano. Its purpose is to change the vibration of the piano strings. To make a strong and resonant sound Kawai Use straight spruce cut into quarters for GL Series soundboards only.

SOLID (Stretcher Over-Lap Integrated Design)

The plate is a sturdy, acoustically neutral steel construction. Able to withstand the stress of holding a piano's strings, all GL Series plates are formed using a vacuum molding process (V-Pro) with a "Crossbone Design".  The result is plates that are strong, stable and beautiful
